I have been working on cars and having them serviced for over 50 years. I have NEVER seen a shop as honest and skilled as Joe and P and L! Joe and his guys got my 2014 Civic running as good as new after changing the front Catalytic Converter then finding trash in the rear Converter- a very hard find and fix! (I was ready to dump it and cut my losses as it appeared tranny was shot. Apparently, the trash inside would periodically restrict the exhaust flow which caused the tranny to downshift and slip. Honda steeler-ship response had been- “It’s not throwing a code so there is nothing we can do”. However, Joe and his guys are REAL MECHANICS, not just code-reading punks just out of tech training! I am now ready to drive another 180,000 miles- thanks to P and L! Now tranny shifting smooth as silk, engine power fully restored, 39 mpg with AC off and 36 MPG with AC on). I would also like to thank my very good friend and brother in Christ, Vinny, for putting me on to P and L. He has been going to them for over 20 years and said this Shop is the most honest and skilled he has ever seen. I could not agree more! These are the best mechanics around. They keep my Buick running great and their prices are very reasonable.
