MY VEHILCE WAS BROUGHT IN FOR SERVICE AGAIN LAST FRIDAY. I'VE OWNED THIS VEHICLE NOW, FOR 1 YEAR. 2022 K5, 12,400 MILES. I'M A BUSY GUY... I'M A SERVICE MANAGER FOR THE LEXUS DEALERSHIP. I'VE HAD THE VEHICLE CHECK FOR A MINOR VIBRATION MILTIPLE TIMES. CHECK MY RECORDS.... THEY'VE BALANCED AND ROTATED THE TIRES. THAT DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. YES, I BROUGHT IT BACK BECAUSE I WAS NOT SATISFIED. STILL FEELING THE SAME VIBRATION FROM PURCHASE (NEW). I HAD MY VEHILCE'S ALIGNMNET DONE TODAY..... GUESS WHAT.. THE VIBRATION IS GONE. I'M NOT SURE OF WHAT THE PROPER STEPS THAT YOU GUYS TAKE TO VERIFY YOUR CUSTOMERS COMPLAINTS, BUT THIS WAS NOT THE WAY. NOW MY TIRES ARE WEARING PREMATURLY BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE. Lied about when the engine would be fixed. Lied saying the engine was fixed (the check engine light came on on the way home. It started making the same noise before it exploded and has to be towed back to them)

I made an 7am appointment to have my 2017 Kia Sportage to have the service department fix a rattle the air conditioner was making. I arrive at 7am. The gate is locked. I get out of my car. Walk to the service department. I was not acknowledged at all. I was then told I would have to drive around the block to come into the other entrance because they did not have the key. After arriving at the service Dept I was told the diagnostic tech didn’t come to work so they could not do anything to the car. I had taken the day off to have my car fixed. I plan to buy another car at the end of the year but it will not be from Sons Kia. Bad service.

Today at Sons of Kia Montgomery Kia Service -Mr. Demarcus gave me great customer service for the second time. I am a lifelong Kia/Chrysler customer but the previous few year’s fiasco at Kia Service had me looking elsewhere. I continue to be impressed with Mr. Demarcus’ RELIABILITY, graciousness and offering of different price points and priorities for servicing my vehicle. They have a lovely waiting room and restroom (and free coffee.. snacks too if you get there early enough) and I even saw a courtesy van again there today so looks like Montgomery’s Kia is back in form in more ways than one. Thank you. I also enjoy HGTV on their lovely set, the only time I get to enjoy that program and it plays so much better on a big screen. Clean amenities too. Lots of light.

I took my car in on July 5th because it wouldn't start. They did the multi-point inspection and told me I needed a new battery. I left thinking everything was resolved. Then I got an email on the 10th saying they recommended an additional $800 of repairs that were postponed. No one discussed these repairs with me when they actually had my car. I don't know if these are critical repairs for the safety and performance of my car that were missed or just a ploy to get me to make another appointment and spend more money. I spoke to someone on the phone on the 11th and was told they would investigate it. I heard nothing, so I sent an email on the 16th. Monday the 17th I got an email saying they would get back to me in 24 hours, and now it's Thursday night. Writing this so maybe someone will take the issue seriously. Do better.

Demarcus is the sweetest technician I’ve met. Kia has great customer service. Any issues that I have, they always do their best to resolve it. Anytime I call or have question about something, the response time is almost immediately. Demarcus has changed my whole perception on dealerships. I have built trust with this dealership. Knowing that my car is in good hands and I’m not being told lies, or being told things need done that don’t. Means so much to me. That’s a huge plus for me! ❤️Demarcus customer service 10/10!

I hope I never have to visit this place again. They finished the recalls (I think) and the service in two hours, and did not tell me. They parked my car and I waited, thought they might have more to do. Started texting the number, NO ANSWER at all, after three more hours, I walked back there into the service department and found that they had put my paperwork on the wrong desk and that person just ignored it. Two hours to do the work and then three more hours of being ignored. Knowing I was not happy, they somehow "forgot" to send me the survey I guess. NEVER, EVER AGAIN!

Everytime they get my car its a hassle to stay updated and even bigger hassle to get it back. They have terrible phone etiquette. It wasnt like this before Sons took over but once Sons did it got TERRIBLE. It takes forever for someone to answer. You get bumped around on the phone with chances of not talkin to someone or The person not answering and the phone hanging up. This time will be the last time theyll get my service. Id much rather Auburn or somewhere else.

Only giving 1 start because it won't let me give them ZERO! my mom brought her kia carnival here last July 2024!!!! Engine light came on. We took it to fort toulouse in wetumpka where it coded for a fuel sensor. We took it to kia in montgomery to have them fix it algo with the recalls. She's left messages at the front desk with many people about the vehicle. She's never recieved one call or message, Never recieved a call back. When we did recieve a call back almost 9 months later.. the guy on the other end said "oh, your cars been ready" They have changed managers many times. She went a month ago and picked it up, and it died down the road. The manager had to come and jump it off and drive it back to kia to figure out what was going on. Today they called trying to charge close to 400 for a new battery!!!!!! Not to mention after almost A WHOLE YEAR OF THE VEHICLE BEING ON THEIR PROPERTY, with today being the only call they have made to her IN A WHOLE YEAR. Of course it would need a new battery after being put in the back fence and left sitting. This place is a JOKE!!! DO NOT BUY YOUR KIA HERE. So, now we have to go pick up a kia with a new battery with the same skipping problem for a YEAR AGO. Edit to add: she had to buy a brand new 2024 toyota 4runner to have while her kia carnival has been parked for about 11 months.

They lied about completing a recall, drove my car home and the engine light came on I had it take it to Kia in Jacksonville and the recall was never completed. The serviced manager hung up in my face and was very dismissive their customer service was horrible I will never return to this location again. I see why they have so many bad reviews I wish i had checked the reviews BEFORE i took my car there I have attached the photo of the receipt of the recall that was never completed

Subject: Urgent: Post‑Service Engine Failure — Do Not Use Sons KIA of Montgomery Review: On 12/04/2025 Sons KIA of Montgomery performed brake, tie‑rod, spark plug, and valve cover gasket work on my 2015 Kia Soul (VIN KNDJP3A58F7180341). Immediately after service the check engine light came on and the engine would not exceed 2,000 rpm. I am extremely dissatisfied with the workmanship and response; I do not recommend using this dealership. Requested that I spend an additional $600 to investigate the issue after their original work.
