I tried changing my own oil and caused a beyond-stripped oil drain plug that I could not for the life of me get removed. These guys got it out easily for me! They were very nice and provided explanations for how to go forward and how to avoid it in the future. Will definitely be coming back for any future help! These people are the best. The price they give you is the price you pay (tax, labor, parts all together). They never try to sell you anything as far as repairs goes. So if they say you should probably get this part fix. I would listen. Highly recommend if you own a Subaru.

Aaron worked really well with me when I broke the cover of my mirror on my new Subaru Forester Wilderness. He inspected my mirror for free. I had ordered my own replacement part and Subiesmith just charged me for labor. The dealership had given me two different quotes around and over 1000. These guys are so great and willing to work with you, save you money, and communicate very well. I had text messages and calls throughout the whole process. My husband and now my mother takes their cars here and we will not be going anywhere else!

Incredible experience! Quality work, honest, fair prices, and strong communication. The most thorough inspection report I have received. Aaron dedicated a lot of time explaining to me the level or urgency with each repair and whether or not it makes sense for me to proceed with the repairs based on how long I plan to keep the vehicle. These guys remove the nasty stigma of fear mongering customers into getting unnecessary repairs. I was almost excited to spend the money with them because I knew exactly what I was getting done and why. I will also mention that this is the second time I have worked with them. The first time, I had a transmission issue that needed full replacement. They did their due diligence and identified a factory replacement warranty that I otherwise did not know about. What would've costed me $3K+ ended up being free because of their honesty. Where else can you find that kind of transparency in auto repair? You have earned all my business and I may have to stick with Subaru for my next vehicle so I can continue receiving such impeccable service/support. Thanks!

These guys got me in right away as I told them my radiator was leaking fluid really bad. My car did overheat but luckily no further damage. They found out during inspection I had a faulty radiator and warned me of other issues. Most were simple but they warned to watch the hoses and those need to be replaced soon. I am working on that part but they saved me money, time, and made me feel stress free during this horrendous experience with my car. They reassured me and we're honest as well as made things affordable on a whim! Highly recommend these guys for all Subaru owners!

Found these guys recommended on Reddit after management changed at my last shop. As a woman who doesn't know a ton about cars and often calls her dad for input on many auto-related things, these guys feel honest and upfront about what I actually need done and what could wait for a different time. When I needed a lot done and felt tight on money, I asked my mechanic (Sam, maybe?) what he would advise me to do if I was his daughter, lol, and we went from there. My 10-year old Subaru Crosstrek is running great, and I place a lot of trust in them to take care of me! I always recommend them to friends.

No BS. That's the best way to describe Subiesmith. After the diagnostic, a full report link was sent to my phone, describing what was an issue, and ranking it red, yellow, or green depending on the severity of the issue. I then called them to discuss the results, and Tyler didn't beat around the bush. He told me, "you can get all this done, it's going to be costly, but your car will go another 150k miles, true. BUT, considering the age of the car, and how much you paid for it, you probably should only get these certain services done, we'll get you back on the road, keep driving as long as you can, and come back if there are more issues." Diagnostic, pressure test, replacement gasket cap, and replacement cabin air filter all done, all for $135 out the door, and I'm back on the road. Fantastic work, great price, honest people. Quality mechanic, I recommend them to everyone I know with a Subaru.

This place has 100% set the bar for my expectations of excellent service. My first phone call with them made it evident they are straightforward and honest about their business. Lots of photos and good explanations of the recommended repairs were helpful in determining what I should do with my car. They never pressured me into extras which was really refreshing.
