I had a very good experience with Tune Up Plus in Chesapeake VA. I brought my daughters Fiat 500 in for an inspection. The vehicle passed but the tech saw that the brake fluid was very dark and should be replaced. I agreed and had the work perfprmed. Very satisfied with this interaction.

I was very disappointed in my inspection last week. They told me that I need rear struts to pass the inspection and it will cost me 875.00 to have it done. I took the vehicle somewhere else to have it installed but they told me I didn't need it done. It was not leaking. I told them go ahead and installed the new strut that cost me 311.00 dollars. I went back to get it re-inspection again and advised they new rear struts on that cost me another 20.00 dollars. They told me it failed again because the battery hold down clamp need to be replaced. And it will cost me 50.00 dollars to replace it. The only thing was wrong was it not tight down. Your mechanic don't know what he is doing. He know it was not tight but he want to charge me 50 dollars to replace it for nothing. I will never do business up there and i will let anyone know don't go there because they will overcharge you. I very disappointed and not happy with them. They totally cost was 41.00 dollars.

Went in for a state inspection, they broke part of an ornament hanging from my rearview mirror and when asked about it they simply told me it was broken when it was dropped off. Wouldn’t recommend

The folks at Tune Up Plus were amazing, incredibly friendly and fast. I was able to get a walk in inspection on my MR2 early on a Saturday and they had it finished up very quickly. Definitely recommend them, and if I had any issues with the inspection I wouldn't hesitate to let them fix it. I went to a few other shops over the past couple weeks trying to get an inspection, even one 10 minutes before their posted open time and still they said "we're filled up for the day, but you can't make an appointment either" Tune up plus saved the day!

I came here early in the morning for a walk-in state inspection. I was greeted by Lisa who was not only informative (she probably knew more about my truck than me ha-ha) but also very pleasant to talk to. I only had to wait around 30 minutes max for a call notifying me that my inspection was complete. Unfortunately, my truck didn`t pass inspection due to my taillights and license plate lights; but I was able to get some guidance from Elmer on what the possible issues could be. If you want to receive quick and well-informed service, then this is the place to go. I will definitely be returning again.

Upon dropping off my truck, I received a call two hours later, providing me with an updated list of the work to be completed. Due to the extensive nature of the repairs, they offered me several discounts to alleviate the financial burden. I promptly instructed them to proceed with the necessary work. The following morning, I received a call informing me that I could collect my vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the repairs would be completed within a week. The front counter staff was exceptionally friendly and responsive to my inquiries. They consistently kept me informed throughout the entire process. I have been driving my truck for the past few days to ensure that all repairs were executed correctly. I am pleased to report that the repairs were completed to my satisfaction. While I do not typically leave reviews, I felt compelled to share my positive experience with the public due to the exceptional service I received.
