Ordered online, had to use my partners credit card, Walmart flagged it as fraud. They auto canceled the order and tied up our money with our bank for up to 10 days. Avoid dealing with Walmart. Just avoid it. Too many problems for such a simple thing.

I scheduled a 9am oils change and didn’t leave until 1pm. There was no communication on their part and when I said something about it taking so long they tried to spin it back on me like it was my fault. I wound wast your time or money here.

The manager there seems overworked and the attitude reflects it. It's seems walmart should hire a manager who is capable to assist in tire lube and oil changes when staffing is short. We ended up replacing 1 tire which took from 1030 am to 2pm on a Sunday. Pack a lunch and map out your day if you decide to wait vs dropping off...popular to my wife and I beliefs, there is only so much you can do in walmart.

A 3-hour wait to change a tire under warranty and then they charged me more than they said they would. Slow and understaffed. Several other clients I encountered were also unhappy with the service. Do not recommend.

It's been over 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Which was a scheduled appointment, mind you. This has to be the worst service I have ever experienced across any industry. I absolutely recommend anywhere else but here for service.

Been in this area for 5 years and I swear by the Walmart in Danville but I thought maybe I'd give Urbana Walmart a try. NOPE, they're horrible. Car was pulled in at 2:58 for a oil change, I asked about it at 3:41 and was told it hadn't been touched. Got my keys and left. Should've went to Danville like I started. Danville keeps their appointments, they'll let you know if they're swamped right off top so you're not waiting.

I had a very very bad experience here. It seems that they want you to buy their tires rather than well fixing your tires. One tire of my car was leaking because of nails. I waited for 2 hours but received the decision that three tires were damaged by nails and cannot be repaired in the store and I must change 3 or 4 new tires. That will cause me more than $600. Then I went to another auto repair store to check it again, the leaking tire was repaired within 2 mins, and I was told that the other three tires were totally fine. I was super surprised and angry. So I highly recommend not choosing Walmart if this is not your only choice.

Way overpriced. Takes up to 3 tries and over a minute to answer the phone. Also, the cashier literally stood around until I got to a register to even hop on and assist, the person behind me NOT with 60 lbs of feed in their arms. Management, really? Not a one time occurring incident either

This shop should be embarrassed about their efficiency. Called first thing in the morning to check on tires. They told me if I made an appointment I’d get right in. Took over and hour and a half to change two tires that they already had pulled off the shelf and ready. Meanwhile several employees are just sitting outside

My sister took her car in for a tire repair. They took all 4 tires off and refused to give her the car back until she purchased 4 new tires due to "safety concerns." Her car was completely checked over before moving for college by a reputable business in our home town. When she asked for her car back, they continued to argue with her for over 2 hours. She finally was able to take her car to a different tire shop where it was repaired for $30 in under an hour. These guys tried to take advantage of a young female and it's disgusting.

No place better for tires if you do it right! Buy tires on the website, some great sales/closeouts there. then have them shipped to your local wal mart for installation. at only 18 bucks each [28] with road Hazard] it completes the bargan! Compare to tire stores or dealership, hands down the best buy!

The auto care worker at Walmart put my 2015 Mazda CX-5 odometer reading into the computer as 844000 miles. My odometer reading is 84000 miles. Now Carfax is requiring me to send all kinds of information to them to prove I only have 84000 miles on my car. Other than that they did a good job.

Made an appointment for oil change and headlamp restoration. At check in was told it would be 1hour 45 min. They texted me 3 HOURS later to pick up. Price was reasonable, head lamps look great.... they just need to work on time management.

Go to the other locations. Stay away from the Urbana location. This is coming from a 40yr Urbana native. You have all been warned!

Bought the road hazard protection for nothing. I hit a nasty pot hole that ripped off a piece of my sidewall. I came in to get it replaced. They couldn’t help me warranty them so I called. They said I didn’t buy the road hazard protection when I was looking at it on my receipt… in the end they gave me a huge run around then said to call the manufacturer. Never again, was absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with any tire shop in my life. Why offer road hazard protection then not honor it? (This was over a year ago, but thinking about it boils my blood) Edit: found the receipt.

Can't ever get anyone to answer the phone when you do it is someone who knows nothing about what you are asking or just a different department entirely. Slow service and poor customer service equals worse than 1. The way they answer the phone and bounce you around on hold them just hang up is so pathetic it hurts. Wasting my time good way to lose money.

Walmart tire center has gotta be the BIGGEST JOKE I've ever seen. Refusal to mount and balance tires due to my wheels on my Ram not having hub centric rings!! I'm sorry I'll never run hub centric rings on my truck!! Put them on one time torqued lugs and drove down the street and lugs loosened up and almost tossed my wheels off the truck!! Took them off retorqued lugs and never had another issue!! Will never use Walmart Tire Center again biggest waste of my time!!

I bought four tires and paid for installation through OnePay, which should have meant I didn't have to spend a single penny out of my own pocket. However, that wasn't the case because Walmart messed everything up. This led to me having to pay for my own installation upfront. Even then, they made mistakes because the tires weren't registering, resulting in me spending four and a half hours at Walmart just to have two tires installed. I was then informed that I could return before 6:00 PM to have the other two tires installed after I fixed a seized nut. I returned before the deadline only to discover they couldn't assist me because a truck was there, forcing me to come back the next day. When I did, I learned that the complimentary road hazard coverage I received for the first two tires due to all the trouble I went through would not be offered again. The female manager was upset that her staff didn't consult her, which resulted in me not receiving the promised complimentary road hazard coverage. This manager should be fired for her poor attitude and incompetence.

I just got my oil changed at this facility. They could not change the oil filter because it was too tight. It is the same oil filter they installed a previous time and they can’t take it out. I would understand that maybe I got unlucky this time. But I had my front two tires changed there before and tire sensors are not working since then. It is more like incompetence than one-time mistake. My experience as a customer has generally been good but such issues mean I can’t recommend this place for reliable service
