They must stop lying about their timing of 7 AM start time, their operator and technician never show on time, you always have to wait for them to start work. If you go any other time other than morning they are fully booked for day.

Dropped off at 9am for oil change & finally had to take it with no service at 12:30p because I couldn’t wait any longer. We have had good experiences in the past but no visible sign of work was done of other vehicles in the meantime.

Avoid this place like the plague! I have been waiting 4 hours for a flat tire fix that would take me 15min to fix in my barn. The represtative takes an attitude while I watch three service techs stand around and an empty shop for two hours without my tire being brought in at all. Then these employees give me a hauty attitude rather than deal with the simple fix is a perfect example of people using policy to alienate customers and it's not the kind of attention I would want for my vehicle that carries my life around. I would assume they are making excuses and taking shortcuts with the oil and parts they are putting in your vehicle as well. I wish I never came as I lost $100 of work hours waiting on their excuses. The tire was under warranty to begin with which is why they kept pushing a 10min service back in their day so they would keep new business rolling through.

Took 7 hours to get tires installed. Told me it would take 3 hrs initially. Dropped off the car and my wife took me to visit my father. 1.5-2 hours later got a call that my car was done. It was not. They could get my lug nuts off but not guarantee they could put them back on? Because of swelling. So it was not done. They don't have lugnuts. Really? Had to go to Autozone across the street, buy lugs. And wait 3 more hours for install. Should not have waited. My own fault. Should have gone to Tiresplus like I usually do.

They locked the automotive entry more than 20 min early when I tried to get there for a flat tire. Another customer called the store to let us in. I watched the technicians leave before 7 pm so when the register guy finally went to help me I said obviously they weren’t going to help me but I still wanted a price for the tire. It was too close to quitting time I guess, because he told me he couldn’t look up what tire my car used. I said never mind and walked out. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. Don’t even waste your time here. A few months ago I came in for an oil change and got turned away too. I’m not convinced they actually do anything here.

Just got a set of 4 tires there. Best deal I could find. But be sure to order your tires on the website first, have them shipped to the store, then make an appointment once the tires are in. They don't have much in stock and what they can order at the store is more limited and more expensive than the website. Service seemed a little slow, so have a some patience even if dropping off with an appointment.

After going to four different car shops that day I was just trying to get my front two tires replaced and got quoted ridiculous prices and was told that I couldn’t get taken same day, I show up to this Walmart car shop, cut my price in half, and Danny did a quick phenomenal job at getting me taken care of and had top-notch customer service, will buy all my tires from Walmart from now on.

Fixed my tires correctly and cheaply! They're pretty busy most days so phone ahead if you don't have a lot of time. I have them do my oil changes as well and for $35 for high mileage oil, the cost is just slightly more than the cost of the oil! I can watch them do the job as well and they do it the same way I would do it myself!

I can't believe this location even has 2.4 stars. You should take your businessb literally anywhere else. All I needed to do was drop off some wheels to have tires replaced. I was in no rush to have them done...I just needed to drop them off. Waited in line for 45 minutes only to have the guy tell me he couldn't do it and I needed to talk to one of the mechanics to have them accept the tires. I then waited another hour for one of the mechanics to finish 2 oil changes before he could accept the tires.... Which once he helped me took him less than a minute to do. I was the first in like and waited an hour...I can only imagine how long the people behind me had to wait. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a store. They are unbelievably under staffed and under trained. No one in the office knew what they were doing. Not sure how you can even put someone in a job and have them not know what they are doing. There was literally no point of them even being in there if they can't help anyone. So irritated.... Take your business anywhere else.

I have never gotten in and out of here in less than 90 minutes. They are constantly and critically understaffed, with only one person working on the day I'm writing this. I dropped off a tire to be patched around 11 am and was told it was going to be 2 hours before they got to any tire work. It's my fault for not going to a local shop. I love Wal-Mart in general, but their auto center has always taken forever. Don't strand yourself here while they work on your car.

Great people, I was there to change wiper blades on my car. Work done in 5 mins. They never charge me a dime. I tried to give some tip to the guy who replaced wipers, but he never took it. I told him to take it, but he said no. I am very pleased. I just wanted to say thank you to the employees who work there.

Came in for a simple flat fix at 8am sharp. Department is a joke. Three and a half hours later I had to finally call a manager. During this time, the department lead had 2 meltdowns, got into a physical altercation with a woman, then proceeded to scream at the employees in the garage, cussing and yelling until finally he abandoned the apartment. Yes, the department was left with NO ONE in charge. Meanwhile, I asked two other employees who were wandering around aimlessly to please call over a manager, who never showed up. My car was first in line, yet it was 'bumped' to the back repeatedly because other customers kept making a fuss. Totally unprofessional behavior from start to finish. Please go elsewhere for auto work, and remember that these guys are working at Walmart because they couldn't get hired to touch a car elsewhere. Worst of the worst.

Took over 5 hours to get a patch put on a tire, we were the second people in line when the store opened pulled my truck right in then took 5 hours to do the work we saw multiple people doing nothing and after 2 hours the entire staff went on break for an hour, I could have been more accepting if at minimum they would have let us know it was going to be a long wait. Multiple people there complained to manager and many left I would not ever get anything done there again it was very frustrating to say the least

They did a great job. I had a long wait until my truck was done but they were short technicians. The tech that did my truck informed me verbally and was on my receipt of other work that was needed. The tires were a good buy and the work & attention to overall inspection was excellent. You all did a great job.

Showed up at 2pm on a Friday. Waited five minutes for Michelle, who complained about management above her for three minutes before helping me. Then was told that they couldn’t fit me in, that I would have to come back. Then walking away, she yelled “SIR, I THINK WE CAN SQUEEZE YOU IN!” I thought to myself, “Awesome, maybe this service isn’t going to be to bad!” I was told that my vehicle would be done by 4pm but they didn’t start working on it UNTIL 4pm but I finally got to leave at 4:30pm. Michelle has zero customer service skills, she should be removed from her management role for disrespecting upper management in front of customers.

Terrible customer service. There was 1 person working the bay and only doing tires. I came in for an oil change, was the only car needing an oil change early on a Tuesday morning and I’m told it’ll be a few hours. Cars getting tires were getting quick 1 hour service. After 2.5 hours I took my keys and left. I guess they weren’t doing oil changes today.

Came to Walmart to get a battery replaced. I was within warranty and the battery was replaced last year. I almost left because they were so busy until an associate by the name of Joe (Service Manager) greeted me. Got me in pretty quick. He was very nice. At checkout, Jacob helped me. He found the technicians ended up charging my battery, instead of me having to get a replacement and possibly spending more money on a battery. He was very nice also. The whole process was about 30-40 mins. Thank you Allen Rd Walmart Auto Center for all of ur help.

Disappointing Experience at Walmart Auto Center – Peoria, IL Visited the Auto Center at 8915 N Allen Rd, Peoria, IL, to address a very slow leak in a tire that was still holding pressure and in overall good condition, with only a small nail puncture visible. The technician claimed there were 3–4 leaks and stated the tire couldn’t be repaired. This seemed questionable given the nature of the damage. Instead of attempting a basic repair, the focus appeared to be on selling a new tire. Additionally, charges were added for a tire rotation and lifetime balance service—neither of which was requested. The total came to $83.81 for a situation that could have been resolved with a simple puncture repair. The advertised “free flat tire repair” for Plus members felt misleading in this context. Disappointed with the overall service and upsell pressure. Hopefully, the location takes this as constructive feedback to prioritize transparency and customer trust moving forward.

Came in to get oil changed one car in front. Walked around didn't hear anything for 2 hours went back and asked why it was taking so long then was told oh you have 4 people ahead of you now they had appointments they come first you were a walk in when I was told you couldn't do appointments. I took my keys and left and went somewhere else.
