We highly recommend Autohaus. The customer service is unmatched. The team of mechanics have been awesome. Our two German cars are getting up in years — I wouldn’t take them any place except to Autohaus. Thank you, MJ, for your outstanding care.

Unfortunately I used autohaus for the last 4-5 years on my Infiniti Q50. When I went in to get my oil changed in March, I asked if they could check my brakes out to see if they needed to be replaced. They said they recommended them to be replaced and quoted around $1700-1800 to do so. Took my car to Creech auto to double check and they stated front brakes had 50% life and rear 75%.. I’ve probably spent $5k-10k at autohaus and won’t ever use them again as I thought we had built trust over the years. Also creech’s estimate for actually doing the brakes if they needed to be done was $4/500 less. Very dissatisfying.

I came here 3/17 to get my headlights replaced. Just my headlights, which are accessed from the wheel well (not the hood). A few hours after I dropped it off they sent me a photo of my radiator hose disconnected. I’ve owned this car its entire life, never had an issue with my radiator nor did I ask them to look at anything else in my car. They quoted me $1,200 to fix the hose leak and told me it “been broken for quite awhile” and that they saw it when “looking into a coolant leak”. FWIW, I was not called to get told about this problem by the mechanic, I had to call in a while after being texted photos with no context and only talked to the front desk. I told them to please reconnect as I don’t live locally & want a second opinion. The very next day while driving my radiator hose popped off - for the first time ever. I am not a mechanic and can only go off of the other opinions I’ve been given, but I do know I had no issues before this garage and the day after I went there for headlight replacements I had a popped off radiator hose & a mirage of indicator lights.

**It's long but worth it! Ok here's the backstory: Back in April 2021 I bought a 2004 toyota corolla. In mint condition from Virginia. Car drove perfectly fine. The dealer in Virginia said upfront the cars CEL was on but he promises to fix it. He tried to fix it but could only get 1 of the 2 codes to go away but never get the CEL (check engine light) to turn off. It was stating an issue with the voltage to the torque converter. However after 3+ weeks of not being able to figure it out. I asked him to ship the car to me as agreed and let me see about fixing the issue myself. He promised if I can't fix it he will buy the car back or exchange. After the car was shipped here to NC. I was given a 30 day tag to try n figure out how the heck am I gonna get this car fixed. I took it straight to the toyota dealership to do a diagnostic( about $149). They saw there was an open/exposed wire. Stated that they don't splice or cut wires because its there policy. So the only option was was to replace the entire engine harness. Which in total came to $2,403.39. I said heck no I can't afford that we are still in a Pandemic here. Plus I just bought the car and I haven't quite recovered from that yet either. So down on my luck I decided to ask around with the have documents of the dignostics from the toyota dealership in hand. No one knew or bothered to try and help look for the problem. So with 7 days left on the tag I already told the guy I was driving back to Virgina to exchange for another car. In June 2021 I called Autohaus Import Service (found on google) and briefly explained my situation. They said to come on in and bring the diagnostic paperwork and they will give a second look. And within 20 minutes I was called to the back and they discovered ONE tiny wire was cut. The gentleman told me that he's not sure if this is what the dealership saw but it looks like this tiny wire is ur issue. So to make it plain and simple. I paid total $72.80 and boom check engine light was off and NEVER came back on again. This is now December and still no issues! This shop has saved me from a 3 1/2 hour drive and spending almost $2,400 at the dealership! I am extremely grateful for there patience and hospitality. Very clean waiting room and complementary snacks and drinks and wifi. So relaxing to know that good people still exist. And again thank you. Will do business again here soon and when needed!

I can’t say enough great things about Autohaus for servicing my BMW and Mercedes. Autohaus has earned my loyalty for many years. From the service managers, Matt and Brian, to all the mechanics, everyone is professional and courteous. Their prices for parts, labor, and service are fair and honest. They have an excellent system for keeping notes on my vehicle and offer automated communication, including texting. The waiting area is comfortable, and they even offer free lifts home. Autohaus is the best go-to shop for foreign vehicles in Wake County!

I am very impressed by the phenomenal customer care and service AUTOHAUS provides. Today was my first time visiting and they really rolled out the red carpet for me. As a former Volkswagen owner, the importance of proper maintenance is crucial to preserving your vehicle. I read all the raving reviews from my fellow Yelp Elite and decided to bring my mom's car in for a check up and oil change. The service was phenomenal! The Lyft Concierge service was a lifesaver for me when working. The coupons help with savings and the customer lounge areas is every woman's dream come true ! The fragrance they use for their lobby area is heavenly ! They got me in and out in no time. Thank you to the owner who runs a tight ship !

I called Autohaus Import Service on short notice to get a pre-purchase inspection on a car my wife and I were flying in to to buy. Understandably, I was told they were booked. Same story from everywhere else in town. MJ, however, went above and beyond by calling back with a cancellation and got me an appointment. One hour after dropping the car off (during which we ate lunch nearby, thanks to MJ's recommendation), MJ had a report typed up and a technician to explain their findings to us. He found a minor leak that only an experienced European technician would look for. Impressive! Price was very reasonable and gave me a healthy understanding of the vehicle's present condition. The waiting room was also very nice. Comfortable seating, various reading material and space for office work are thoughtful features. As a fellow automobile service professional, I would recommend Autohaus for your European car needs. Thanks MJ!

I feel I was overcharged for the service rendered. The thermostat was replaced plus 1 gallon of antifreeze. The charge was $589. Plus tax (Fred Anderson price $497. Plus tax). I was charged $175. labor for diagnosing the problem. Most shops will drop that charge if you have the work done. Then I was charged $133. For an oil change (synthetic) ( Fred Anderson price $100. without coupon). Then I was charged $44.40 for shop supplies (what did they supply). My total bill for thermostat replacement and oil change was $1,009.65 which is uncalled for. I guess I’ll have to look for another shop for my service.

I paid about $5500 for both my cars to be repaired, yet I’m still driving around with bad brakes on one and a tire with a slow leak that never got found on my other car. I took in a 2008 Toyota RAV4 that had previously been quoted a few months ago for multiple repairs. I stated at the time of check in that I wanted whatever had been quoted previously to be repaired. The staff supposedly neglected to actually look up the history of the vehicle, so they “missed” the brake repair and ended up doing the quick and easy - but high $$$ - thermostat repair. The car is nearing the end of its useful driving life, and I was quoted several times more than the value of the car in overall repairs. The brakes were never even mentioned as needing repair at all during the days it was there for repairs. I also took a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica for repair due to a squeaky noise and paid several thousand dollars for control arms replacement. I also wanted an oil change and tire rotation. My drivers side rear tire was low on air pressure at the time of drop off. I figured if it was leaking, they would let me know. To my surprise when I started up the car, the same rear drivers tire pressure was low. This logically means the tires were never rotated. I’m now starting to question whether anything was repaired correctly on my car. The technician stated the tires were rotated and I just needed to drive the car to clear the sensor. The sensor was fine the next time I started the car, but only for 4 days. The same tire is now showing a low air pressure sensor again. I put air in the tire but it’s clearly leaking, and clearly they never even bothered to check or rotate the tires on a car which had the sensor showing low pressure at the time of drop off. What exactly is in their 27 point inspection if not an obvious fault with the car??? I’m filing a complaint with the BBB. Autohaus just goes for the high $$$ repairs, neglects the details which can cause actual safety problems, and uses misleading sales tactics to scare customers into getting high $$$ repairs. This place might have had a good reputation a few years ago but they are now like all the rest of car repair places you just can’t trust and will take as much money off you as possible while still leaving you with car problems.

I've been coming to Autohaus exclusively for my VW GTI for nearly two years. They've done everything from standard maintenance to emergency part replacement and leak fixes. Always great service, never had to wait more than a few minutes. My car runs smooth every time and they offer shuttle services with good hours for work schedules. Autohaus is my only go-to that I'd trust for my needy car.

I had a great experience at Autohaus Imports Incorporated in Raleigh, NC. I came in thinking I might need new brakes, and my advisor, MJ Willis, took the time to listen to my concerns and asked if I had about 20–30 minutes so they could properly take a look at my car. After inspecting it, they were honest and told me that I did not need brakes at all—just an alignment. I truly appreciated that level of honesty because a lot of places might have tried to sell me something I didn’t actually need. Instead, they were straightforward and professional. MJ Willis provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. He was professional, courteous, patient, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. It’s rare to come across service that exceeds expectations the way his did. In the end, they completed an alignment and also rotated my tires. The whole experience was smooth, honest, and pleasant. I’ll definitely be returning in the future, and I highly recommend Autohaus Imports to anyone looking for trustworthy and professional automotive service.
