One star because the employees were nice, otherwise ZERO Stars. 2012 F250, went in for an oil and fuel filter change (basic truck maintenance). The technician is watching YouTube to figure out how to change my upper fuel filter, he broke one of the fuel line connector clips that connect to the upper fuel filter (he pulled the clip “out” -when it was a “push” clip) he spent the last hour trying to change the upper fuel filter SMH!! This is unacceptable, should have taken less than 10mins, if that. I had to get out and disconnect the fuel lines myself, because he was literally destroying the fuel line connectors trying to force the clips off. Now I smell like diesel fuel. Grease Monkey: please instruct your technicians -if they DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, DO NOT ATTEMPT THE TASK! Its not an issue that the tech didn’t know how to change the fuel filter (Just tell the customer -No we cannot change your fuel filter). the problem is that they waisted my time, broke my fuel line clips, and nearly made my truck inoperable (if I had not stepped in and showed them how to properly disconnect the fuel lines). This place needs to do better… nearly $300.00 and I supplied my own fuel filters! It took them an hour and forty-five minutes to change my oil and fuel filters. This is ridiculous. Don’t ask this shop to do anything other than a (basic oil change), otherwise, you will likely regret you did. The day after I left Grease Monkey, I had a low fuel pressure light come on… then my truck shut off while going down the highway. I got out of the truck to make sure my fuel lines were connected (they were), however, my rear fuel filter housing was not screwed on all the way (a visible gap -SERIOUSLY!?) -my fuel system was sucking air because the technician did not tighten the fuel filter housing all the way. I went to NAPA and purchased a 32mm socket (shy of $30) and had to crawl under the truck and finish tightening the fuel filter housing myself SMH. Also, the yellow drain valve on the housing wasn’t closed all the way (wasn’t leaking fuel, but none the less this valve should have been completely tightened and closed) Again this is just poor service -do better Grease Monkey.

Zero stars on this one (but it won’t let me do zero)! I normally go elsewhere but was in a rush so I figured I’d give it a chance. After I drove off I heard a terrible noise. It stopped after a bit so I just waited until I got home to check it. They never re-secured the bottom plate, so it drug on the ground the whole way home. Now I have to attempt to fix what they messed up without the proper tools/equipment. Lesson learned—don’t take the quick route next time.
