Really appreciated them squeezing me in without an appointment for a tire replacement. The job was completed quickly and they provided great customer service.

I had a very bad experience at this tire shop. The prices were extremely overpriced compared to other places in the area. The customer service was also terrible — the employees were very rude, unprofessional, and acted like they didn’t care at all about helping customers. On top of that, the wait time was way too long for a simple service. Overall, I do NOT recommend this place. Save your time and money and go somewhere else with better service and fair prices.

My experience with Mr Tire was outstanding. The Manager (Randy) was the best. This is the second time Randy has helped me out with tire problems on both of my cars. I would highly recommend going to Mr Tire in Cary off of Harrison.

We blew a tire on our utility trailer on interstate 40. We swooped at the next exit and there was Mr.Tire! They had one trailer tire in stock, got us in right away, and we were back on the road in under an hour. Excellent friendly service. Thanks, Mr. Tire!!

I had 2 blown tires and a busted rim while traveling. I called the number on Google which sent me to a call center-not ideal while standing on the side of an interstate in a dangerous situation. I found a tow company to get us where we needed to be. The shop got the car in quickly. While I declined the alignment, I assumed the shop would let me know if there was a danger to us driving the vehicle! Once the tires and rim were changed (luckily tow company had a rim) my daughter noticed the back passenger wheel was tilted in at the top. We asked if this was an issue and the man who worked on the car said he could switch the wheel location but the other guy said that it was OK. We drove another 2 hours, with it shaking, to another shop. That shop looked at the car and instantly told us we had busted shock and bent trailing arm on the back and a busted struck and bad ball joint on the front. They said we should not be driving like this, especially with 2 toddlers on the interstate. At first I was happy with how fast it was "fixed" at Mr. Tire. Now I cannot believe they allowed us to leave without recommending these items be fixed!

It won’t let me give No stars… the staff was friendly but they screwed me. I took my car in for jerking…. They texted me and said I needed transmission fluids and a new serpentine belt… $580 out the door. I Agreed via text. Then after pick up it continued to jerk… went back the next morning and was told oh sorry you should have been told you may need a transmission part repair or a new transmission. Why was I not told that prior to accepting their services? Or even when I checked out. I took it to the dealership and yes a new transmission is needed. Now I’m out almost $600 for their services another $200 for the re-inspection at the dealership and I have to either replace the transmission or get a new car. I feel swindled and taken advantage of as a female. Also both mornings I arrived at 7:30 as that’s their posted open time and the guy opened the doors both days after 7:30. People were waiting at the door. I will NEVER go back there again.

Mr. Randy is an outstanding gentleman. He helped diagnose an issue with one of my tires, which thankfully didn’t require a patch or replacement, and refused to take any payment for his time. Out of appreciation for his kindness and honesty, I’m leaving this review to recommend this great place.

I scheduled an appointment online for a state inspection. It was really easy to navigate. Their business hours are very accommodating, especially for someone who works 9-5 everyday. When you walk in, you are greeted my friendly faces, especially Randy. He made me feel welcome. The waiting room is clean and spacious. The service was quick and easy. I will continue to come here for my car maintenance needs!

We have been taking our cars here for about ten years now. We always feel like they take care of us. They are not overly pushy and do not constantly try to upsell us. They perform the services we request and give us a very fair price.

Beware: scammers who will take advantage of ladies. They quoted one price over the phone for an oil change. When my girlfriend went to pick it up they tried to charge well over double the price quoted on the phone. They insisted on the price about 2.5x the phone quote and tried to explain away the extra fees. They are also supposed to provide an estimate you sign in person when you drop off the car showing the cost. They failed to do that. In the end they took a "discount" off their inflated cost that took it down to about double the original quote the provided her. I feel like they took advantage of her and this likely would not have happened if I had been there. Stay away. Bait and switch conman company.

Update: the tire repair was Not free (I intitially posted before checking out). However it was friendly, quick, and a relatively inexpensive charge. I still highly recommend them. Friendly service personnel. Free tire repairs reqardless of where tires were purchased. I had a recently purchased used vehicle that had a slow leak that they happily serviced. I have used this location for years and highly recommend them.

Best tire company in area! They go above and beyond in inspections and service. I came in for an NC inspection but also had concerns with a long distance trip, so they did a full inspection to make sure I would be safe. They are very kind and honest also. They don’t try to sell you anything you don’t need, and they don’t take advantage of you if you are a female. They are true and honest to all. Good people and good service! Definitely 5 stars!

I have been a loyal customer at this location since moving to Cary almost 14 years ago with multiple cars and even a popup camper. The service and services have always been exemplary, until this week. I made an early morning appointment days before and dropped my car off right after they opened, primarily for an alignment, but adding on an oil change and tire rotation since I was there. I had just replaced the entire suspension elsewhere and the steering wheel was at a severe angle(almost 45°) when going straight. Pretty straightforward job. They proceeded to ignore my car in the queue all day and it was not ready for pickup until within an hour of closing at which point I had to wait to pick it up in the morning. 😒 What's the friggin point of making an early appointment exactly? I happily pick it up and it became quickly apparent that the steering issue still persisted. How the hell did the technician drive the car out of the repair bay and to the parking lot across the way without noticing the steering wheel was at such angle. Give me a break. I take it back in, and the gentleman at the counter is apologetic and initially proceeds to tell me they will "fit it in when they can." Incorrect. It was there all day the previous day, and your incompetent staff did not do the job I literally just paid you for for what exactly? After expressing my displeasure at this situation, he changed the plan and had the tech immediately bring it in. 45 minutes later it was fixed. At this point, I am not confident that they even did the oil change or tire rotation either. This is a massive let down and a blow to their reputation in my mind. I'd rather bring my vehicle to the dealership and pay twice as much to ensure the job is done correctly and within a proper amount of time. I look forward to reading the corporate copy and paste response that will follow this review.

Was quoted $50 on the phone and then when I went to pay without warning they told me the bill was $120. I called to make an appointment and gave the person on the phone my car make, model and year. I dropped the car off and then went to run some errands. I got no update on when the car was ready (initially told it was only going to be an hour) but after not hearing from them for at least 2 hours I walked in. I would understand if they needed to make adjustments based on the type of car I have and what they find, etc but to not call a customer to tell them it’s going to be more than double the price is just not an appropriate way to run business. I’d stay away from trusting them with your car.

I used to love coming to this location for my tires, as guy at front was very knowledgeable, honest and transparent about findings, and more importantly treated me with respect with regular updates about progress. This time it was not the case at ll. I came to this place on Nov 1st to change two tires, oil and alignment. It took them very long 3.5h to do so with terrible outcomes. My oil filter was not tighten at all (literally barely holding in place), I lost almost all of my oil overnight and car didn't want to start and drive normally next day. They didn't replace broken clips on wheel arch cover that leads to the filter either, leaving plastic hanging out. Alignment was so out of order, that my car started swerving left and right on a way back! they claimed my bolts on tie rods were seized hence they couldn't adjust, but later in my own driveway I was able to undo all the bolts and replace my tie rods using a bit of a torch and penetration oil - I am not a mechanic, I did it with a help of few videos. They quoted me 5x the price for tie rod parts without being able to say which brand they will use. They almost permanently damaged my engine, and my steering components with results of their careless work, which could have been prevented if they had proper quality checks protocols in place. I am not returning to this place ever again.

I'm normally a big fan of this particular location. So much so, that I drive 40 minutes just to have all of my family's cars serviced here. I have been a regular customer for more than 10 years. I've kept coming back because of the service and pleasant interactions Randy, Lamont, John and Ricky before he left provide. However, I'm not loving the past couple of interactions with the new guy, Dan. I scheduled 10:30 appointments for 2 cars to have new tires and alignments, with one car also needing an oil change. Not only did he not realize we were waiting with the vehicles, but when he look up and see us, he didn't gave any updates. When checking out, I noticed i was charged for the oil change. He indicated because it wasn't on the list of services to be be completed and blamed someone else for not adding it. However, I made my appointments online and it was noted in my confirmation. He said he could see if they could do it then but I may need to come back. I advised unless it could be done that minute, I would not wait for it. We ended up leaving. When I got close to home, the tire pressure light came on and has remained on. I called to advise of this and he says can you just pop back over. SIR, that's a 40 minute drive that's not a just pop in. It was disheartening to have such an unpleasant experience after so many years. Also to see customers turn around and leave after learning John is no longer there. Maybe it's time we move on as well.

Daughter's car needed oil change. I looked at Mr Tire website in her area. There was a coupon there for $49.99 ($10 off) for synthetic blend oil change, so I told her to go there. She sent me the receipt and it was over $100. Evidently, they didn't honor their own coupon published on their website. She was charged full price for the oil change plus another $20+ for oil filter and more $ for oil disposal fee. I get the oil disposal fee, but not other charges. I went back and read some yelp reviews from over 3 months ago and others had same issue, yet coupon is still on their site. Bait and switch at its finest. Had I known this would happen, I would've changed oil myself for a third of the price and that would have included oil and filter.

Fantastic service! I had my car towed to the Harrison Avenue location after a blowout on 40. Randy checked me in even though I arrived at closing time. The team was great working on getting in a special order tire and wheel to address the damage….great communication and pricing…5+ star service

Went into Mr Tire, with a blown tire- at 2:00pm - Randy was helpful and transparent about getting my car ready for a trip that same day. They didn’t have my wheel in stock but he searched and got the tires in the shop and had my car ready before 5pm same day. Overall great experience and the cost was below what my Volvo dealership quoted and the turn around time was faster.
